Snowmobile Adventure

Ride an electric snowmobile through the winter landscapes of Sulitjelma, where forests give way to wide-open mountain terrain, and follow the trails into a world of vast Arctic scenery.

The tour starts at Rampen Adventure Hub in Bodø, where the team from Rampen welcomes you before heading towards Sulitjelma. The scenic drive takes around 1.5 hours, bringing you from the coast into the mountains.

Once in Sulitjelma, we set out on electric snowmobiles for around three hours, following prepared trails through snow-covered forests and mountain terrain. The route takes us through the Sulis Mountains, surrounded by winter landscapes, mountain peaks and glaciers.

Along the way, we stop for a light lunch and hot drinks in a traditional lavvo by the fire. Afterwards, we continue on the snowmobiles. On days with good weather and suitable conditions, you can see towards Store Suliskongen and the impressive glaciers that surround the area.

Sulitjelma is an area where dramatic mountain scenery meets a long history of mining. Its combination of high mountains, glaciers and extensive snow-covered landscapes makes it a spectacular setting for a winter snowmobile adventure in Northern Norway.

A valid drivers licence is required to drive a snowmobile, while passengers do not need a licence. The total experience takes approximately 6 hours including transportation from Bodø, with around three hours spent on the snowmobiles. Weather and snow conditions may affect the exact route.

Offered in collaboration with Rampen.
